Movie Moles on Matewan

In the wake of the Trump administration’s attempts to revive Big Coal, we rerun a 2018 dialogue between Movie Moles Jan Haaken and Joe Clement about John Sayles' 1987 film Matewan. The interview aired in the wake of the 2018 West Virginia Teachers strike, during which teachers invoked the militant union history of their State's mining industries. The film is available on DVD from the Multnomah County Library.
