Recap: Twixx Williams & Demari Join Rip City Basement on KBOO 90.7FM
Last night’s episode of Rip City Basement on KBOO was packed with energy, insight, and exclusive content straight from the heart of Portland’s creative scene.
We were hyped to welcome Twixx Williams to the studio for an interview that gave us a fresh look into his latest work. Known for his creative presence behind the camera and in front of it, Twixx filled us in on his new project, “Tell Twixx”— a street interview show that taps into real conversations with locals around Portland. It’s raw, entertaining, and gives voice to the everyday stories of the city.
Also joining us live in the studio was rising music artist Demari, who premiered his unreleased track “Show Me The Money” for the very first time on air. The song is a smooth yet gritty anthem about ambition and self-worth, and we’re proud to have debuted it exclusively on Rip City Basement.
As always, we featured music from local independent artists who submitted tracks through the Rip City Basement app. This platform continues to be the go-to place for artists in the Pacific Northwest to get real radio play and exposure.
If you missed the episode, stay tuned for the full replay and clips dropping soon. Huge thanks to everyone who tuned in live and continues to support local music and creative voices in Portland!
🎧 New episodes air regularly on 90.7FM KBOO and are also distributed on iHeartRadio, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and more.
