Trump said women should be punished for having abortions. Was he right?
Frann Michel comments on Donald Trump's short-lived suggestion that women should be punished for having illegal abortions. She reads from Corey Robin's argument in Jacobin that the view of women as victims seeks to deny women's agency, and from Jodi Jacobsen's argument in REWire that women are already being punished for seeking reproductive care. She recommends finding out more about the Jane collective through a documentary and discussion at the Clinton Street Theatre Tuesday 4/12 at 7pm.
