In July 2016, a caravan traveled across the US to ask for Clemency for Leonard Peltier.
KBOO volunteer Christopher Francisco traveled and provided KBOO updated news and broadcasts with the Peltier Justice Ride 2016, a group riding from Oregon to Washington, DC, July 12-24, 2016.
The following program is a compilation of the daily segment about the ride produced over the summer.
The ride was dedicated to creating awareness of the injustice Leonard Peltier has endured and to create support for his clemency. Christoper Francisco is the producer of the podcast Human Beings with 5 Fingers, focused on what is going on in Dine’ tah (People’s Land/Navajo Reservation).
