Dmae Roberts talks with Portland novelist Myrlin A. Hermes

Dmae Roberts features Portland Novelist Myrlin A. Hermes and her book The Lunatic, the Lover and the Poet. Hermes turns Shakespeare "topsy-turvy" bringing a fresh look and "prequel" to Hamlet.

In her book, Horatio and Hamlet are in a bisexual love triangle with Lady Adriane who is based on the Dark Lady of Shakespeare's sonnets. Hermes talks about how she based the book on the storyline behind the Sonnets and worked to bring us the lusty, bawdy world of Elizabethan England. Listen to this special show with music and readings.
