Pastures of Plenty May 7, 2025 May Moby Dick & New Releases

This episode of Pastures of Plenty offers a musical salute to the merry, merry month of May, Moby Dick in a 5 minute song, and features some great new music and new releases from Pacific NW artists as well as some old favorites.

Featured artists include Dervish, Tempest, Steeleye Span, Mavis Staples, and Jackson Browne, with new releases from Mary Chapin Carpenter and Jim Kweskin. Local artists include Shanghaied on the Willamette and Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer with a great live raga version of “When I Go” from St John’s Pub in Portland from 2000, and new releases from Jim Page and some spicy Celtic fiddle music from the Katie Jane Band.
