Raquel Salas Rivera speaks on re-examining Marx through a queer lens in their book The Tertiary. Written in response to the PROMISA bill (Puerto Rico Oversight, Management and Economic Stability Act). The Tertiary offers a decolonial queer critique and re-examination of Marx and Pedro Scaron's El Capital, the 1976 translation of Karl Marx's classic. Published by Siglo Veintiuno Editores, the translation was frequently used by the Puerto Rican left as part of political formation programs.
