On this episode of the Gap, Tammy and Althea discuss the billionaire space race between Jeff Bezos and Richard Branson. Would you believe that the richest men in the world are a little tone deaf when it comes to the monetary and environmental cost of their frivolous endeavors? Don't worry, Bezos thanked all the Amazon employees, who definitely were working a starvation wage job so the big boss could go to space for 11 minutes. Space travel in the past was a matter of national pride and scientific achievement -- it's why we have velcro! Suffice it to say, this brief space flight didn't scratch that same itch.

Then, we talk about mental health and the Olympics. Notably, American gold-medal winning gymnastic savant Simone Biles pulled herself from competition because of her mental health. We ask the listeners, if they've ever had to step back from something important for the good of their mental health -- or if they ever regretted not doing it. Listen to your gut, and know that it's okay to take care of yourself, even with the weight of the world on your shoulders.
