Iron Tribe emerged from the vision of two men as they served time in Oregon prison. Upon release from prison they fulfilled their commitment to develop an innovative and effective transitional housing solution for others re-entering their communities after involvement with the criminal legal system. Today, Iron Tribe Network offers peer support, advocacy, family reunification services and operates Recovery & Wellness Homes in four counties in Oregon. Host Karen James speaks with Shawn Bower, co-founder and Executive Director of the Iron Tribe Network.
