Repeat of the Petee Talley December 2021 interview. Major focus of interview reflects on the 2022 election season.

Join hosts Tina Turner-Morfitt, Dr. Audrey Terrell and Deborah Hall for the Oregon Coalition of Black Trade Unionists segment of Labor Radio. Our segment is a replay of our interview with Petee Talley, a sister with a Midas touch when it comes to politics in Ohio. Sister Talley is a Region 5 representative for the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists and recently retired as the  Secretary-Treasurer  of the Ohio AFL-CIO.  Given Congress's lack of progress on securing voting rights in 2021, we wanted to emphasize Sister Talley's views on how to mobilize constituency group voters, her views on how to address the twisted concept of Critical Race Theory and how re-engage Black workers and  their vote to protect their communities. The electoral season of 2022 is going to be filled with multiple obstacles, Sister Talley shares with us, her desire to tackle this challenge.
