Artists and academics team up to bring a narrative arts museum to Portland
San Francisco has one, New York has one, Brussels has one, and now Portland may be home to a cartoon arts museum, if a group of academics, activists and industry artists get their way.
Dr Mike Rosen, Sean Wynn, Michael Ring, and Katie Pryde are four of the board members organizing to create a space that fosters the cultural landscape of the Pacific Northwest's comics and animation scenes, not only a space for exhibitions but also for learning, for cataloguing, for creativity, and for solidarity.
