This week on Century of Lies: Scotland Takes A Stand.

The Government of Scotland has issued a paper entitled “A Caring, Compassionate and Human Rights Informed Drug Policy for Scotland” that calls for a veritable revolution in drug policy including heroin treatment, safe consumption sites, drug checking services, naloxone distribution, and the decriminalization of simple possession of most drugs.

Plus, “A scientific look at the 2023 World Drug Report” with Angela Me, PhD, Chief of the Research and Trend Analysis Branch at UNODC; Beau Kilmer, PhD, McCauley Chair in Drug Policy Innovation, Codirector of the RAND Drug Policy Research Center, and a Senior Policy Researcher at the RAND Corporation; and Tim Boekhout van Solinge PhD, an independent criminologist, UN consultant, research fellow at the Department of Criminology at Erasmus School of Law, Erasmus University in Rotterdam, and Founder/Director of the Forest Forces Foundation.
