Please join us on Tuesday, October 3rd at 6:00 pm for Transpositive PDX on KBOO Community Radio 90.7fm as we talk with Tash Satz about their workshop, "A Short History of White Christian Nationalism and Anti-Trans Attacks" presented in partnership with Red Sea Road Consulting.
For nearly two decades, tash shatz (they/them) has been an advocate within and for trans communities. Coming out as a trans youth in 2004, they became an educator by necessity. Between 2008-2014 tash helped lead administrative changes to Oregon’s state policies on trans health in both public and private insurance. Since then, they have worked as an advocate for LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic and sexual violence, a coordinator of a municipal government training initiative, an anti-racism consultant at a national DEI firm, and a strategic facilitator for many nonprofits. As a movement worker, tash believes justice is a possibility and compassion is a necessity.
