This week on Century of Lies: Stigma.
Since 2015, the Stigma Indicators Monitoring Project at the University of New South Wales has documented the expression and experiences of stigma and discrimination towards people affected by blood borne viruses and sexually transmitted infections. On this edition of Century we’ll hear about the work of the Project from Dr. Elena Cama, a Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Research in Health at the University of New South Wales Sydney; Dr. Timothy Broady, a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Research in Health; and Mish Pony, CEO of Scarlet Alliance, Australian Sex Workers Association. Plus we hear from Dr. Ana Povo, Secretary of State for Health in the Portuguese government, on the launch of the European Union Drugs Agency.
