James Grabill is the author of 18 books, including Eye of the Spiral and the 2 volume sea level nerve. He won an Oregon book award, and was a finalist two other times. He’s reading tonight from his just out book Stray Dogs and Irreversible Cars. He’s a former professor of Literature, writing and  sustainability.

Poet/interviewer Paul E. Nelson founded the Cascadia Poetics LAB & the Cascadia Poetry Festival. His most recent books are  DaySong Miracle (Past 62) (2024); Cascadian Prophets (Interviews 1999-2023) (2024) and;  Haibun de la Serna (2022), He co-edited several anthologies. He’s Literary Executor for the late poet Sam Hamill and lives in Rainier Beach, alongside dxʷwuqʷeb Creek. Paul is reading one of his DaySongs, where he spent an entire day writing.
