Swing 'n' Country with Mary 2/22/25

On this week's episode of Swing 'n' Country, I've got a special set of Oklahoma songs and I'll spend the 7-8 o'clock hour of the show talking about the yodel and its history and playing many examples of yodels, including some from other parts of the world as well as some old recordings of yodels. I'll also be playing a specially selected song given to me by local singer, songwriter and performer Tom Armstrong. He's got mighty fine taste in old country music and a huge record collection, and he's going to send me a song every month and this month you'll hear the first one in the 8 o'clock hour.
