In March and again in May, Bread and Roses host Nicole Vulcan traveled to earthquake-ravaged Haiti to speak with people about the revival efforts following the January quake. This Friday, July 24, Bread and Roses will feature live interviews with Marisha Auerbach and Kelda Miller, two permaculture experts involved in reducing food insecurity in Haiti through improved agricultural methods. The show will also feature interviews with Haitian farmers and agronomists, who share their opinions about the direction of Haiti's future, and the donation of hybrid seeds by seed giant Monsanto.
