Three Happening voices in the Portland poetry scene, Chris Ridenour, A. Molotkov, and John Sibley Williams, get together to read some poems. Barbara LaMorticella hosts.
A. Molotkov is a writer, composer, filmmaker and visual artist. Born in St. Petersburg, he moved to the U.S. in 1990 and switched to writing in English in 1993. He is the author of several novels, short story and poetry collections and the winner of the 2011 Boone’s Dock Press poetry chapbook contest for his upcoming “True Stories from the Future”. His credits also include the 2010 New Millennium Writings and 2008 E. M. Koeppel Fiction Awards. Molotkov’s work has appeared in over 50 publications, both in print and online. Chris Ridenour is a print artist and writer. He founded Night Bomb Press in 2008 with his wife, Amber. Together they have produced six books and one infant daughter. Chris's writings and artwork have appeared in widely scattered places like Windfall, Arsenic Lobster, The Oregonian, and The Quebec Letter Arts Project. Underside Arts is currently developing a chapbook of his work. He lives in St. Johns, Oregon.
John Sibley Williams is a literary publicist who has served as Acquisitions Manager of Ooligan Press and Publicist for Three Muses Press. His poetry won the 2011 Heart Poetry Award. His chapbooks include A Pure River (The Last Automat Press, 2010), Door, Door (Red Ochre Press, 2011), The Art of Raining (The Knives Forks and Spoons Press, 2011), Autobiography of Fever (Bedouin Books, 2011), From Colder Climates (Folded Word, 2011), The Longest Compass (Finishing Line Press, 2011). Some of his over 200 previous or upcoming publications include: The Evansville Review, RHINO, Rosebud, Ellipsis, Flint Hills Review, and Poetry Quarterly.
