Jazz and the Church - with guests Devin Phillips, Jessica and Chuck Israels
Saxophonist Devin Phillips will preview his upcoming June 13 performance "Modern Revival",
original works and arrangements of American spirituals. This performance was to have featured Janice,
whose celebration of life is also today.
We will feature Janice Scroggins' music as well as that
related to, and inspired by, the church.
Jessica and Chuck Israels guest to preview their June 8 Jazz Pentecostal Service,
featuring Duke Ellington's Sacred Concert music with choir, tap, and jazz orchestra.
