Zoolidarity and Ban the Box

Food service workers at the Zoo are in their first contract struggle and are demanding $15 an hour, in line with the global campaign to Fight for Fifteen.  Labor Radio host Jamie Partridge talks with Laborers 483 Zoo worker Anne McDonald about Zoolidarity!  In the second part of the show, we hear from Midge Purcell of the Urban League about Ban the Box, a campaign to allow job seekers and renters a fair chance by eliminating the section of applications where one must disclose an incarceration record.
