Readers will be Claire Askew , Mariah Talicuran , Laura Blum and Hannah Jeanne Thompson.

Originally from Maryland, Laura Blum trekked out to Oregon five years ago and has been reveling in poetry ever since. She graduated from Lewis & Clark College last year, and now spends her time working on her craft and making a nurturing home for herself in this beguiling city.

Claire Askew is originally from Kansas. She moved to Oregon to attend Lewis & Clark College and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor's in English. Since then she has been working in the nonprofit field, and in fall 2015 she will begin pursuing an MFA in poetry at Washington University in St. Louis. Her writing has been featured in the Kansas City Star, the Oregon Poetic Voices Project, and elsewhere.

Mariah Talicuran is a Pacific Northwest native who has just recently began her practice as a Massage Therapist and is delving into the world of plant medicine, heart first. Poetry has always been a way to express her feelings and perspectives of the world around her, which is always shifting and transforming. After taking a couple years to travel, pass through her massage therapy program, she is now making her debut back into the world of poetry by performing pieces which celebrate love, embrace grief, and express her gratitude for the power of therapeutic touch.

"Words are powerful:" a phrase young Hannah Thompson heard daily from her evangelical parents and church. Hannah took this adage to heart and began writing poetry at the age of 8. Since then she has graduated with a degree in English from Lewis & Clark College, published her work in T(OUR) magazine and Oregon Poetic Voices, and appeared in a number of readings throughout Portland and Seattle.
