Talking Earth presents Portland poets Josh Lubin and Amie Zimmerman tonight. Josh Lubin is a writer living in Portland, Oregon. He is the host and curator of the weekly reading series Salon Skid Row, held every Tuesday night at The Corner Bar in downtown PDX. His work has appeared in several chapbooks, online and in print, in such places as Housefire and Criminal Class Press.
Amie Zimmerman is a working class poet living in Portland, Oregon, with her teenage son and two catz. She cuts hair, grows plants in her yard, and has decided she owns too much taupe clothing. Recently, her poems were included in Volume One of the Drunk In A Midnight Choir anthology.
