Host Per Fagereng speaks with Zaher Wahab about what life is like in Afghanistan. 

Zaher Wahab is Professor Emeritus at Lewis and Clark College. He was born and schooled in Afghanistan, received a B.A. in sociology from The American University of Beirut, an M.A. in comparative education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an M.A. in anthropology and a Ph.D. in international development education from Stanford University. He taught at Lewis and Clark for forty years. He is currently Professor and Director of the M.A. Program in Education at the American University of Afghanistan in Kabul.
