A discussion with Anjeanette Brown, Outreach Manager of Oregon Tradewomen, regarding the importance of community activism and developing leadership skills.

Join hosts Tina Turner-Morfitt, Dr. Audrey Terrell, Ms. Deborah Hall in a discussion with the Outreach Manager of Oregon TradesWomen, Anjeanette Brown. Ms. Brown  volunteers with multiple community organizations, such as Girls Build, Family Forward Oregon is graduate of a one year leadership course with Portland African American Leadership Institute. The topic of our show highlights the important works of keeping your eye on the national political landscape, how it affects issues predominantly germane to people of color and women, and how to fight back through public engagement and community activism.
