Denise Morris Hosts this episode of the Old Mole which includes
- Bill Resnick interviews Larry Kleinman about Latinos organizing to stop Trumpism. They discuss the potentials long term, to go on a great offensive, to make clear to all, including the white working class at every leval, that we are in the "Same Boat Brother," and must fight for good jobs for all. Larry Kleinman is co-founder of the Oregon Farm Workers union PCUN.
- The Left and the Law with Jan Haaken and Mike Snedeker will do a post-mortem on the election, focusing on Trump's proposed appointment for Attorney General, Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions, and what that means for criminal justice reform. Mike and Jan specifically focus on Sessions and his bills, previously introduced in the Senate, to crack down on sanctuary cities throughout the U.S. We also will be talking about the sanctuary movement as critical sites of resistance to Trump's law and order politics.
- Denise Morris will talk with Stephanie Luce, Professor of Labor studies at the Joseph S. Murphy Institute, CUNY. They discuss post election results as they relate to labor, minimum wage campaigns and the importance of mass protests now in the wake of a Trump victory and how they can shape social movements going forward.
