Jan Haaken interviews Kapka Kassabova about her new book: Border: A Journey to the Edge of Europe. Kassabova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, and now lives in the Scottish Highlands. Haaken talks with Kapka about the book--described as both a travelogue and memoir--and how this return to the region of her childhood shaped her thinking about the psychology and politics of national borders.
