King Black Acid covers two of their favorite recording artists for a new 7" single on pink bubble gum vinyl. The A-side features a dreamy cinematic rendition of the sweet romantic ballad "I'm In Love With A Girl" by Big Star. The B-side features a cover of the Carpenters 1971 hit classic "Superstar", that starts out with a dark and moody dream-core landscape then patiently leads the listener into an crushing epic dirge filled with feedback and walls vintage analog synth textures.
King Black Acid is a musical collective run by musician, producer, engineer and performer Daniel Riddle. The group has been putting out records, scoring films, contributing to film soundtracks and touring since the early 1990's.
