interviews with Shamus Cooke & Jason Sheckler

Public sector labor unions are reeling from a recent Supreme Court decision, Janus vs AFSCME, which allows union-represented workers to opt out of paying  representation fees.  Shamus Cooke, a State of Oregon employee and a chief steward with SEIU 503, will discuss the impact of Janus and the way forward for his and other public sector unions.  In the second half of the show, Jason Sheckler, an officer with  Carpenters local 1503, will discuss the rise of racist and fascist attacks on our communities and how labor can fight back.  Amanda Hill and Jamie Partridge co-host the show.
