On Tuesday October 23, 2018, Joseph Gallivan interviews art critic Jeff Jahn [PRONOUNCED YARN] about his new essay Portlandageddon.  Jahn talks about the effect of new money and new blood on the city’s cultural scene, how the city council sees the arts through an affordable lens, the state of Portland’s art schools and institutions and the contribution of Paul Allen to art collecting.

Joseph Gallivan has been a reporter since 1990. He has covered music for the London Independent, Technology for the New York Post, and arts and culture for the Portland Tribune, where he is currently the Business Reporter.
