Incarcerated at age 12 in Texas and sentenced to a 30 year prison sentence, Terrence Sampson survived a near fatal stabbing in prison, drug addiction and gang involvement. With the support and love of his family he earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree while incarcerated and wrote two books while in prison. Released after 29 years in prison, Terrence is a new father and works with incarcerated youth and at risk youth. Terrence will join us this week on Prison Pipeline to discuss youth incarceration, the power of family support, racism in the prison system and his work to help juvenile offenders.
