Our guest is Sister Denise Berkley, who has a 46 year labor history in New York state. She is the current Statewide Executive Vice President CSEA Local 1,000, a fellow CBTU sista and the Chairwoman of  Women’s Committee within the International Coalition of Black Trade Unionists . Sister Berkley talks candidly about Black women’s struggles in the labor movement and her counter tactics to prepare the next generation of Black women to assume their role in union leadership.
