We will be discussing the upcoming elections and the never-ending canon fodder of transphobia spewed on the general public by the right wing. We will hear from Lori about how the right to privacy is a fundamental medical right to non-disclosure. Sheila shares some of her stories from fighting the Oregon Citizen’s Alliance in the 80s. Gigi talks about normalizing transgender medical procedures and her groundbreaking work opening the door for FFS in Oregon. Nicolette shares trans in the news stories including the latest transphobic bad behavior from Caitlyn Jenner and Jean reminds everyone how important it is to vote.
Transpositive is a biweekly program in Portland exploring themes important to those who identify as Transgender, Gender Non-Binary, and Gender Non-Conforming.
