The Environmental Industry Complex is not seeking funds for solar and wind power that could provide sufficient energy to power an ecological society. Instead they are getting funds for research and testing of stuff like (allegedly safe) nuclear power, carbon sequestration, the fantasy of clean coal, geoengineering huge mirrors in space and fertilizing the ocean to promote growth of algae. Bill Resnick discusses articles that expose this disastrous spending when cheaper and efficient sun and wind installations could be quickly built.
