ON MONDAY HE ATTENDED A HEARING REGARDING CHARGES OF
ILLEGALLY RE-ENTERING THE UNITED STATES SOME TWENTY YEARS AGO.
HE NOW WORKS WITH VOZ WORKERS’ RIGHTS EDUCATIONS PROJECT,
ALONGSIDE ROMEO SOSA, WHO WE SPOKE WITH ABOUT THE CASE.
ROMEO IS AN INDIGENOUS MAYAN ORGANIZER WHO IS HEAVILY
INVOLVED IN THIS LONG-TERM CASE. HE SPOKE TO THE CURRENT SITUATION:
