The ENRON scandal was one of the biggest cases of corporate corruption in the history of the United States. Few people remember that Oregon was the hardest-hit state by the corporation’s implosion. ENRON owned Portland General Electric – the fraud-filled corporation’s only actual asset.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the conviction of ENRON chiefs Kenneth Lay and Jeff Skilling, KBOO Evening News is launching an ENRON Project set to air in May.

We are looking for people to interview who lost their job or retirement savings in the ENRON implosion. Can you help us tell this heartbreaking but cautionary tale of Oregon history?

Please send potential contacts to interview to Lisa Loving at newsdirector[at]KBOO[dot]fm, or call 503-231-8032 ext. 203. You can also fill out this form  to contribute to this story!
