Before we can put human needs before corporate greed, we need to learn about what's happening in other countries.

Join ani and Lyn in a conversation about the conditions of workers at Nike factories and an action that's happening this Saturday to tell Nike that we will not accept the exploitation of workers. International action has been called for Saturday, July 29th- in Portland the action will happen at 1:30 pm, at The Nike Factory Store in NE Portland. We will talk with local organizers Eloise Erickson from United Students Against Sweatshops, and Russell Lum from the Oregon Fair Trade Campaign about Nike factories pulling their production from union shops to non-union factories to avoid fair treatment of workers.

Find out more about that action here

Also, Paige Shell-Spurling of The Portland Central American Solidarity Committee,  will be in to give an update on the struggle of GM workers in Columbia.

Because we must make our resistance as international as their capital- listen and learn how we can support one another's struggle.
