Welcome to another addition of Grataeful Dead & Friends. This is the 2nd Saturday of the month and per usual, Sun will have on a great Portland band playing live. This time I'm super excited to have Foster's Kids. A little about the band:
Foster's Kids like to have fun and get loose! Born in 2016 and raised in SE Portland, Nathan Day (Asher Fulero Band), Tim Jones (Tapwater), Joel Davis (Life During Wartime) and Justin Fulbright (Sugarcane) create an energetic, eight legged musical stepchild that refuses to grow up. Mixing yacht rock with Americana, the Kids just released their debut album, Felony Flats.
First, I'll be kicking things off with some legendary Grateful Dead and I'll be asking a special guest what they think about 8/27/72.
