On Tuesday Nov. 19, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. Joseph Gallivan interviews Geordie Duckler and Merridawn Duckler about Circulation, their installation on now through Nov. 30 at Blackfish Gallery. Siblings Geordie, a lawyer, and Merridawn, who teaches writing, talk about their “pop up” library which merges books and nature, through a maximalist collection of drawings, poems and found objects.

CIRCULATION, a month-long pop-up library at Blackfish Gallery, explores book and nature. Gallery visitors can use a free artist-made library card to check out freshly unearthed books, leaf through hardback and softbound organisms, and follow tree-lined stacks by library cart along a woodland trail.
Join the artists, Sunday, November 24th, 7 pm for a lecture by Geordie Duckler on evolutionary biology; and “Adult Story Time”, a library performance written by Merridawn Duckler, performed by Jamie Rea.
