The Corvallis Daytime Drop-in Center wouldn’t exist without the hardworking local folks who volunteer their time to help fellow community members in need. From greeting people as they come in, to serving food and coffee, distributing items like warm, dry socks, helping people get medical attention, and providing a safe, compassionate atmosphere where people can relax and socialize, volunteers do it all. In this episode of Local Folks Podcast, we meet Teanna, Pete and John and listen to them talk about how they became involved with the CDDC, what they do as volunteers, and what they have gained from their work helping others.
