A look at how far (or not) the Democrats are prepared to go to help working Americans

Description:

With millions out of work and another recession on the horizon, there is absolutely no leadership coming from our elected officials or industry leaders. Neither political party has presented a big picture strategy to deal with the combined public health and economic crises ravaging our country, and the wealthy have grown their personal fortunes while fleeing onto private yachts and islands. All this has left working Americans completely exposed, forced to fend for themselves in the face of an unprecedented disaster.

In this episode of Labor Radio, Michael Cathcart and Elliott Gilliland break down the HEROES Act passed by the House of Representatives, what it indicates about the Democratic Party’s priorities during this crisis, and what that means for the well being of working people.
