We are thrilled to invite you to join us for a special episode of Transpositive PDX, airing Tuesday, May 6, at 6:00 PM on KBOO Community Radio, 90.7FM (or streaming online at kboo.fm).

🌈 Introducing: Defiant Moments 🌈

Following the success of our recent anthology Defining Moments β€” Essential Queer Stories, we are proud to bring you Defiant Moments β€” a collection of deeply personal, bold, and urgent stories that shine a light on the power of resilience and the necessity of resistance.

In Defining Moments, we explored narratives of courage, self-discovery, and navigating internalized homophobia and societal stigma. But as we enter a new, troubling chapter in our political landscape, Defiant Moments rises to meet the moment.

With federal cuts to education, science, and the arts β€” and with LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive freedom, immigrant rights, and racial equity under attack through efforts like Project 2025 β€” it is more critical than ever to raise up the voices that systems of power aim to silence.

This episode is a call to collective action and a celebration of queer and trans defiance. Through intimate stories, we explore the generational threads of resistance that shape our community: the moments where we said no to erasure, yes to ourselves, and yes to each other.
