A nine vehicle caravan left Portland this morning to join the Dakota Access Pipe Line protesters in Standing Rock, North Dakota.
Many of the passengers are Native American military veterans.
They are bringing cold weather gear and medical supplies, as well as a strong sense of solidarity with the protesters on-site.
