Today was the last day of the Vanport Mosaic Festival, celebrating the history and impact of Vanport, once Oregon's second largest city before it was destroyed by a flood and neglect in 1948. It was located in the area that is now Delta Park. Shirley Minor's father was present in Vanport before and during the flood that wiped out the residences of twenty thousand people.
KBOO’s Theresa Mitchell interviewed her at the Vanport Mosaic Festival, which is put on by the history organization Vanport Mosaic.
