Scrutiny of Leadership During Protests Falls On Portland Police Bureau

Several protests and rallies converged last Sunday at Terry D. Schrunk Plaza. According to KBOO source Nicole Marsh and other eye witnesses, the Portland Police coerced protesters into Chapman Square, pepper sprayed them and shot them with rubber bullets. Sources also alledge the Portland Police may have been working with Oath Keepers and were illegally taking protesters information. Despite Portland Police Bureaus murky language around whether they used flash bombs and rubber bullets the KBOO News Team recovered casings and rubber bullets from Chapman Square after the protests.
