Lisa Loving raised her family in Northeast Portland while working as a freelance writer, reporter and news editor. She has won awards for her reporting in education, consumer rights, and environmentalism. The Skanner News' news editor 2008-2015, she is currently the Evening News Director at KBOO Community Radio where she has produced radio shows since 1990. Lisa is an Oregon Humane Society volunteer and serves on the Oregon Society for Professional Journalists Board of Directors. She is a fan of tiny dogs and genealogy.
